What's the situation with iTunes/iOS? Been using MM5 on Windows for years but my daughter has a new iPad. Have synced it before with older iOS devices but can't see an easy option with her new iPad. Don't want to install iTunes on my PC just for this so is there any easy way to sync to my Windows library?

Re: Itunes
OK, looks like that's a no then, thanks. I'm not installing itunes just to sync a few audiobooks.
Re: Itunes
It actually explains an alternative, albeit unsupported, method that just installs the necassary components without installing iTunes itself.

Re: Itunes
OK, so I've just gone through all those steps. Downloaded and extracted AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi and run it. Next step says "connect your iOS device to your PC and Windows should be able to detect it correctly." - didn't happen. All I get is this:

I've accepted 'Trust this computer' on the ipad but it then says to run iTunes which I appparently don't need to install as per your instructions.
Re: Itunes
Who knows what Apple do with each update, maybe they changed something (again?), looks like iTunes needs to be started to write TRUST into Registry.
