MediaMonkey for macOS licensing Q&A

Post by rusty »

For those of you testing MediaMonkey for macOS, you may be wondering how Gold functionality / licensing works. To summarize, MediaMonkey for Windows Gold and MediaMonkey for macOS Gold are licensed separately unless you have a 'Lifetime' license. In other words:
- If you have a MediaMonkey Gold Lifetime license, it'll work for both MediaMonkey for Windows and MediaMonkey for macOS
- If you have a MediaMonkey for Windows 202x Gold license, it will not work for MediaMonkey for macOS 2027, though as always, existing users are entitled to discounts.

Prior to its release, the only Gold license that's available for purchase and applicable towards MediaMonkey for macOS 2027 is MediaMonkey Gold Lifetime. If you have an older Gold license that isn't a lifetime license, you can check for a discount coupon via our license lookup service as described on our upgrade page.

Thanks for your support!
