Support for e.OS

Post by nigelleach »

I have recently moved from Google Pixel to a FairPhone6 using e.OS.

I can install and use Media Monkey, but cannot purchase a Pro license as I have limited access to the Google Play Store.

Is there anyway of purchasing and using a Pro license outside of the Google infrastructure?

Many Thanks, Nigel

Thanks for the update.

It probably worth pursing, I think people are starting to drift away from dependencies on big tech infrastructure, whether it is Google/Microsoft/Apple.

I agree, but there are difficulties that needs to overcome in order to make things happen.

Note: MMA Pro is tied to Play store account, so you maybe can buy it on different device and DL it on e.OS one if they both use same Play Store Account?

I'm just chiming in here to say that I'm in the same boat, and would *love* some way to install MediaMonkey Pro on my /e/OS device. MediaMonkey is one of the few applications keeping me stuck maintaining Windows and Android devices, and I'd love to see some sort of exit strategy (even a cumbersome one) rather than none at all. I'm already a registered owner on both platforms, but I for one would gladly pay a third time if that's what it takes.

Hi,
Amazon Version of MMA did not needed Google services, but since Amazon removed normal store on regular Android devices it is not maintained, but still on to do list for future versions.
