I reinstalled, that has fixed the issue.

Bah, FFS, it only plays Audio for videos if I do a portable installation, but then when it plays a plain audio file a bunch of pop-up to register plug ins crashes it. It won't play audio for video files in a non-portable installation.

What exactly do the popups say? Screenshots can help explain.
