Hi,
I recently installed (portable) the 2027.0.0.3517 build on a separate drive, I noticed today in my windows startup that there are found chrome tasks in my windows startup items related to this install of MMW 2027. All four seem to be the same command line: "mediamonkey\chrome.exe" --startup-foreground-launch
Is that expected?
Chrome startup tasks

Re: Chrome startup tasks
It is not expected, seems to be consequence of using newer version of Chromium, thanks for reporting, inserted as issue https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=22299
I will fix it now, you can delete all registry entries containing value like "mediamonkey\chrome.exe" --startup-foreground-launch
They do not run anything, it only clutters your registry.

Many autostart items for mediamonkey
While I did not try to set up MM autostart, there were 387 items for Mediamonkey in the startup tab on task manager.
In the registry it looked like this:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
...
"GoogleChromeAutoLaunch_6CE1E46AF33C2AACCB3A7015E0E8F761"="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\MediaMonkey\\chrome.exe\" --startup-foreground-launch"
"GoogleChromeAutoLaunch_881D14F670783FD71633D325A1858F19"="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\MediaMonkey\\chrome.exe\" --startup-foreground-launch"
"GoogleChromeAutoLaunch_90F528E0E6E2BA7F0C3245521334B046"="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\MediaMonkey\\chrome.exe\" --startup-foreground-launch"
...
etc, etc
Did the MM installer do this? I am kind of baffled. I must admit nothing is exploding or crashing. Forgive me if I overlooked an earlier post on this.
I am on MediaMonkey for Windows 2027.0.0.3517 alpha. W11, build 9278
Best regards,

Re: Chrome startup tasks
Hi,
This should be fixed soon.
Anyway, have you tried to use some free apps to monitor startups like https://www.hibitsoft.ir/StartupManager.html
