specifying which files to be treated as coverart ?

Hi,

It may be me having missed something in the helpfiles but I am seriously missing some tool which allows the efficient selection of which files are to be used as coverart.

I notice that if I scan disks and include images to be scanned they are all imported into the library and the first one in the sorted list of images appears as coverart in the coverart window. I can then selct other images and choose use as coverart. (Actually, I am unsure whether coverart is imported to the database or not. I use MM only as a catalogue of offline backup DVDs and would like that feature.)

That may be well and fine for execptions but it is not really a preferred manner of handling coverart when you have thousands of albums.

I would like an option to specify a filter such as 'folder.jpg' which only imports files with that name and automatically treat them as coverart and neglects all other images with other names.

Could that be implemented?
