A quick question:
Does the "Do not repeat for x hours" function act on just the Last-FM query, but also on the local default playlist ?
[appears not to ..]

Just on the query I believe.
Added functionality to script

I made a few relatively simple changes:
1. If NotToSoon is false, I try a few more times before giving up and loading from playlist.
2. I copied logme and created a Recommend() function. I use it when an artist cannot be found in the collection and when a song cannot be found. I TAIL this log so that I get new music recommendations
Simple simple changes, but very sweet.

psyxonova,
I remember awhile back you mentioned you might release what you have for the new version to beta testers. Why not release what you've got now for the community and call it alpha or beta or whatever. If anything is not finished, I'm sure there are people here who wouldn't mind fleshing it out, but we'd really like to see these new features. It doesn't make sense for us to start from scratch, but it's been 3 months since an updated version was announced.

Set your timeout option to something meaningfull (like 20 seconds).
You can access scrobblerDJ settings from tools>options>ScrobblerDJ
First time you access them make sure that each one of them has a normal setting.
Thanks!

Ok, I have downloaded Scrobbler DJ, installed it, and even see the little icon on the top bar. But I just can't figure out how it works?! I disabled auto DJ, and enabled Scrobbler DJ. I don't want to take up space on this board with this beginner question... so it's you'd rather respond to me at NCJoni54[a.t.]aol[d.o.t]com, I'd appreciate that as well. I am so excited about what I have read here, so I look forward to hearing from someone soon. Thanks. Joni

The script is activated when the last song in "Now Playing" starts to play.

psyxonova,
First off thanks for a great script!
For some time I have been having the following problem on shutdown of MM:
"Everytime I simply exit/close the application, I get a Windows XP Error box that says "Media Monkey - Audio Library has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The options at the bottom of this Windows error box are: Debug/Send Error Report/Don't Send."
Anyway after finally getting some time this weekend, I looked into the problem and after taking Jiri's advice I from this post:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ncountered
I discovered the problem plugin is:
gen_audioscrobbler.dll
Do I need this plugin to run your script and do you have any ideas on why it is causing a problem?
Thanks.
