Crashed drive

My buddy's computer had a crash. The hard drive that had all the MM music failed.
Our music drives are about 90 per cent identical.

I made a copy of my drive and am going over tomorrow to install it.

Will his MM4 recognize the music on this new drive?

Not right away. MediaMonkey uses driveID and that needs to be fixed after swapping drives: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=63823

Do note that the Paths still need to be identical between the 2 drives. If they aren't Locate Moved/Missing Files may be able to find the files.
