right audio track not playing

When playing all .flak and .wp3 files using MM android, the right track seems to be merely a lower volume copy of the left track. The equilibrium is balanced. Whereas, playback of said files using the Samsung music player is perfect. I can copy a problematic .flak file to my PC and it plays perfectly on MMW.

The .flak files were created using MMW, ripped from physical CDs. They were perfect copies according to the verification database, and play back perfectly on MMW.

This problem started around February 2025. Until then, playback was perfect. Since then, right tracks are almost silent.

The best example of this is Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. 37 seconds in, they say "little high" into the left track only, then reply "little low" into the right track only. There is music coming out of the right speaker (though at a lowered volume), but the words
"little high" are heard in the left AND right channel at full volume, but "little low" vanishes entirely into silence when they should be shouted in the right channel. This is why I think the right channel is just a copy of the left channel.

But the problem isn't in the file itself, because, again, it plays as expected in MMW and in Samsung music player for Android.

Did you check that the Balance in the MMA Equalizer itself is set to the middle?

I can't begin to guess how to access an equalizer inside of MMA. I've clicked every icon, swiped every direction, searched these forums and the web. I'm lost.

wow. I tried those 3 dots from everywhere BUT the queue menu.

And yes, balance somehow got set to pure left.

The universe is now... in balance.
