I don't love iTunes, but the sorting and reporting by artist and album feature was very organized and helped while collecting. I would really love to regularly export my library into a PDF and/or CSV that contains something like the following so I can carry it around on my phone and check if "I already have that album" in my library.
First option would be:
Grouped by Artist/Library Folder
Artist AAA
Album name 1 -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
Album name 2 -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
Artist BBB
Album name 1 -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
Album name 2 -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
Or the second option could be a bit more simple, but still be able to sort:
Artist AAA -- Album Name -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
Artist AAA -- Album Name 2 -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
Artist BBB -- Album Name -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
Artist BBB -- Album Name 2 -- # of tracks in folder -- Length of folder tracks -- Date added
For sorting it would need to be done prior to export if output is PDF, but if output is CSV then you could use your favorite spreadsheet editor to manipulate the sorting in various ways maybe???
Does anything like this exist in MediaMonkey for the serious collectors with hundreds or thousands of albums? Do I just not have or know the right plugin on MM for Windows 2024?
