Can no longer drag to desktop or audio editor [#22186]

For as long as I can remember I've been able to drag tracks from MM5 directly into my open audio editor/DAW or even just to the Windows desktop. But since the last update (3514) it no longer lets me. I just get the circle icon with a line through it when trying to drag. I even tried running MM5 as administrator but when I do that the program just hangs and won't even launch.
