Hi!
I really like the new release. But: I have some problemns switching from iTunes.
1) MM should ask for importing itunes library data at the end. But only Windows Media Player ist listed. Why? and how do I fix this?
1.a) if it works: does MM import ratings, playlists and playcounts?
2) does MM sync playcount and ratings with an ipod?
3) how can I reset the menubar layout?
thanks

I'm having somewhat similar problems. For some reason Itunes won't work for me anymore so I decided to try something different (MM obviously) but now for some reason some of my songs (whole cds) won't play at all even thought the music files are all there.
For all I know none of them have any sort of copy right protection of any sort and only a few of them were encoded using Itune's format but other then that I can't think of what is wrong or where to start trouble shooting.

Re: some problems when moving from iTunes
I just did cleared my mm database yesterday and recreated the library and at the end of creating it, it asked me to import my itunes, mediaplayer and winamp. I had no problems importing all their ratings. I do have the latest versions of itunes and media monkey...and they have been installed in their default locations. I am using vista.
I think you can set media monkey to import from itunes again after creating the library, but don't remember how. It's in the forums somewhere, I found it there one time.
I think mediamonkey only imports ratings. I know it doesn't import playlists and I've never checked on playcounts. I doubt it does.
Mediamonkey does import ratings and playcounts from your ipod. Not the playlists. It also doesn't import last skipped which is really useful in itunes to setup playlists without the same songs you keep skipping.
