After using MM in several par-tays, I would like to see these party-assists :)

1. Right-click on a track in Now Playing list: Play this song next.

2. Play menu: Stop after current

3. Play menu: Repeat current track

And also as one who's constantly transcoding tracks from one format to another:

4. Track Properties: Codec Info (e.g. MPEG1.0 L3, MPEG2 L3, Vorbis, etc.)

5. Track Properties: Encoder (e.g. LAME, Fhg, Lancer, etc.)

6. Track Properties: add an 'Advanced' tab, which will show ALL tags defined in the file. No need for edit, just display in a nice columnized table...

I use ISO8601. How about you? Use this date format: Y-m-d H:iO

Sounds good. Number 6 has been requested before, other wishes I'm not sure if they have been requested.

1-5 I like to see, but aren't very important to me. 6 I like, but I would like to see it editable.

I might be wrong (usually am 50% of the time) but points 2 & 3 may be available in scripts somewhere. If they are, I'm sure the Authors will update.

Otherwise, I add my vote to these proposals.

I'm sure others will love you!

You could do a script for 2.

You can use my A-B Looper script for 3.

I don't agree with 1. I prefer getting the menu, that's often how i rate them. I don't always want it to play that song next. Unless I misunderstand you.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.
All the code for my website and scripts is safely backed up immediately and for free using Dropbox.

I think with 1 an option for play next should be added. Play now is already available.

Questions is how it would function. Would the song be moved next (under) the current playing song (makes more sense to me) or would MM now playing jump to that song once the current playing song is finished (wouldn't you loose complete track of which songs will be played next?).

Option 1 should be implemented like this...

I prefer it be implemented by moving the selected track(s) underneath the currently playing track. There are 2 reasons:

1. Ppl in par-tays will sooner-or-later ask "So, what's the next song?" ... I put the now playing list up so no one will ask that question.

2. Implementing non-sequential playback (ala Winamp's Jump to File i.e. somehow implementing a hidden sequential playlist) is difficult and may be buggy and/or breaks other code in MM.

Again point 3

Hello,
I was about to post a new thread for feature 3
(Play menu: Repeat current track )

This is indeed a very powerful feature for many listening styles,
I could have a nice playlist running, but get so much absorbed in a specific track in the middle of that list such that i wanna play it until i get sick of it and then go on with my list.

currently this is not possible, i have to clear the list and leave only the track i want in the now playing, but then i'll have to rebuild the playlist again.

Please take this feature into consideration

thanks
