Automatic Updates (for Beta builds) [#21897]
I see we now have an automatic update feature. I suspect it will only load release versions??? This happens only rarely, and I think most people might want a downloaded copy of the release installer....? But for those of us who are trying to always run the latest betas, this would be a VERY useful ...

Re: [REQ] Playlist last played track [#21209]
It might be helpful if the use case was acknowledged in the bug description: This would be particularly useful for a case where I am playing a list for myself, but then a different situation arises where I want to play a different list say for different audience. Then I would like to return to my ...

Re: [REQ] Playlist last played track [#21209]
I should add that bug #21209 is not really fully related to this, as it only mentions tracking statistics for playlists.

Re: [REQ] Playlist last played track [#21209]
It has been a long time since I raised this issue. In particular I mean being able to save the current now-playing list in its current sorted or shuffled order, and with that be able to save what is the currently playing track. Say about 10 saved queues?? This would be particularly useful for a case ...

Re: A few regressions in MM 2024
Regarding point 3 above, I dont understand the current logic either. If I have right clicked and asked to scan a particular folder, why would I need to select it again? I thought the issue originally was that when users did this not only was the current folder selected, but all other existing ...

Re: MM5 lumps stereo and multi-channel together
I suppose one could edit the album titles of the multi-channel versions by adding " - MC" to each of those titles.
That would be a manual operation one edit per album, but it would serve the purpose once it was done.

Re: Upgrade Windows 10 to 11 - Checklist
For most people, the windows changeover AKA upgrade is totally trouble free and almost all your applications and data will be still there and running same as before. As with any major software change, there might be a few growing pains, and things might even go catastrophically wrong, which is very ...

Re: New NAS, Big Collection. Any way to redirect database without rescanning?
So Lowlander - are you saying there is no way to transfer the existing database to the new location and to get MM to recognize it? Are you saying that any user moving to a new NAS by would thus lose all auto-playlists and all other non-scannable data such as playcounts etc?? To the OP - This person ...

Re: Need help to restore artwork panel
So did you actually un-ckeck or drag away "playing list" from the right hand pane in the layout??
This being in tools, options, and select the top level layout item. All possible panes are shown in a diagram.
When I do that, it is gone for me.

Re: Need help to restore artwork panel
If I understand correctly you want the preview pane which shows the artwork but you do not want the now playing above it? What did you have in this space above it before? The default layout does have both but there is a section in Options layout where you can add and delete things from the ...

Re: automatic update library...is it possible?
Just for a test have you tried adding the tracks to a folder that already contains an existing track? Continuous monitoring should see the new tracks but I am wondering if it catches new folders not already existing???
