Please try the latest MediaMonkey 2024 beta build as this issue may already be resolved.

You can only stream media files from a Media Server, there is no editing of files whatsoever.

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using and this affects MP3 files?

Scan will scan what you have selected to scan. So always make sure you only have folders selected you want included.

Scanning shouldn't duplicate anything.

D&D on a Collection root node in the Media Tree (not in Options) should also work to add the dropped file(s) to the MediaMonkey Library.

Which version are you trying to download?

You may want to clear the browser cache as it may be causing the problem.

If automatic scanning is happening, you've enabled Folder Monitoring. You can disable it or at least make sure Downloads is not selected in manual or folder monitoring scanning.

3005 is an old beta release, you should update to the latest.

There is no answer yet to what happens post-iTunes. We'll have to see first what Apple does and what road blocks they put up for third parties this time.

What are you doing when this happens?

iTunes is needed for iOS Sync . Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey 2024 did this happen with? Can you use any of the media files on your iPhone that Synced up to this error? Do your singles have Album and Album Artist values, or did you leave them blank?

Depending on the Android version you can set how files are Synced by MediaMonkey using Masks.
