Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.8.2 (2014-01-27)

Agreed. Super needed in MM5.
Especially as I upgrade older MP3s with FLACs, copying the ratings, playlist associations, and play accounts is crucial

Re: [REQ] Revisit bit depth and sampling rate as a mask field? [#11732]

While I don’t want to encourage it, the “scene” appears to have standardized using 16-bit and 24-bit in folder/release names for flac releases. I’d just like to include 24 in my filesystem autoorganize mask if the bit depth is greater than 16-bit. See https://predb.net/section/FLAC/ for an example of ...

Re: [REQ] Revisit bit depth and sampling rate as a mask field? [#11732]

Perfect. So feature request for adding bitrate then as a file mask field? Maybe (sampling rate/1000)as well.
Thank you. Loving this app.

Re: [REQ] Revisit bit depth and sampling rate as a mask field? [#11732]

For masks, it has <bitrate> but not <samplerate>. The <bitrate> also doesn't give what I'd expect as '24-bit' and '16-bit', but rather gives me rates like '223' and '950', that I understand to be the bitrate of the compressed file and not really the underlying wave file bitrate? If it does exist ...

[REQ] Revisit bit depth and sampling rate as a mask field? [#11732]

I noticed the bit depth tracking here from 2014 that is marked as new. https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11732 Looking at file masks, I'd love to be able to do [24-96] or [24-44] or [24-48] or [24-192], as I'm finding a lot of these high-bitrate items in my library. Ideally, I'd love to ...

Certain unprintable characters aren't removed for @ grouping

The mask documents at https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHelp:Configuring_Directory_and_File_Formats/5.0 have <'Field'@n:1> , which I can use to squash to single letters for my prefix. A couple characters don't seem to work: ∆AIMON “Weird Al” Yankovic These created an odd unprintable character direc ...

Re: MMW5 Addon & Skin Requests

Hello Drakinite! I'm hoping you're still here on the forum Is this something you still might do? I've had to continue with MMW4 because Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix is a core feature that I use. This would easily be worth $50 to me, though I'd want that to include the playlist transfer too, as ...

Re: [REQ] additional Mask Fields [#21701]

This is amazing and was fixed so quickly.
I assume I can use it in an $if() and/or it defaults to an empty string if unset?

So excited for https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/road ... ion_id=140 now!

Re: [REQ] additional Mask Fields

Thank you Peke! I put a few tracks together, available for 7 days and sent the link via ticket 12517. 1. Yes, it shows as RELEASETYPE (album), RELEASESTATUS (official), CATALOGNUMBER (...), MEDIA (CD) as extended tags in file properties. 2/3. Generally, I run them through Picard before they ever hit ...

Re: [REQ] additional Mask Fields

True, but then these aren't saved or loaded from the FLAC/MP3 file. For example, I pull in a Musicbrainz Picard tagged file and it has "Release Type: album ; Release Country: US; Media: CD; Catalog Number CDP 12345; Disc Subtitle: Live from New York". If I was able to map Custom1 to tags: like the ...

[REQ] additional Mask Fields [#21701]

I’d love mask fields for any of:
- album comment (remastered, 12” vinyl edition)
- catalog name ( VSX 12345 )
- album type ( EP, Single, Bootleg, Official)

When I bring in my Picard sorted data, there is no good way to have these as a part of the path.

Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.8.2 (2014-01-27)

Only thing keeping me at MM4 as well. Replace an album with another (ie: MP3 to FLAC or similar) and I want to copy the playlist references and ratings. It's so essential at least for the basic same-album upgrade.

@rusty or @lowlander can this functionality be included in the upcoming MM5 versions?

Re: Server progress

A docker image would really be key here, bringing all of the dependencies together into a simple docker pull to bring up a MediaMonkey server.
