Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. Seems with MM, I cannot achieve what I had hoped. I thought it would be pretty common for someone to have a network or a nas and want all of their devices to share from it.

Just wanted to chime in here as well, I vote for this as an option as well. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but a handy feature if added.

Just wanted to weigh in on this as well. I have been a long time user of VLC, and have liked it, but I really dig MM, and prefer to use one application wherever I can. I think I'd like to store all of my ripped DVDs on my Server, like someone else said, and be able to play them from anywhere. Just ...
