MediaMonkey for Windows 2027 alpha build!

Hi all,

We're happy to announce the first alpha builds of MediaMonkey 2027 for Windows. These builds have undergone limited testing, so only use them if you're comfortable living on the edge and want to help contribute to the evolution of MediaMonkey 2027. This build includes about 200 significant changes including:

Newly supported items:
Formats: FLAC codec 1.5, TS video
Tags: Language, APE v2 artwork, ID3 for WAV, basic tags for MKV/WebM
Streaming: OGG/FLAC support

New Playback features
Support for Synced lyrics
Replaygain v2
ASIO output plugin
VST plug-in support
Goom visualization

New metadata / editing functions:
Energy metadata (to complement Initial key & BPM for DJs)
Album art: resizing / minimum artwork size requirements / mass edits
Mass edits: provide feedback re. which fields are changing
Support for PDF booklets
Customization of Genre thumbnails
Support for Video properties for Collection criteria

UI:
Ability to undock panels
Open in new tab (finally!)
New graphic usage reports

Misc:
Rip CD to single file with CUE sheet
Tidal playlist synchronization
iOS Synchronization sans iTunes
Update to most recent version of chromium

  • If you're using this for testing, the best approach would be to install it in portable mode so as to isolate the database from your primary MediaMonkey install.

MediaMonkey 2024.2.2.3222 Released!

Hi,

We're happy to announce that MediaMonkey 2024.2.2.3222 has been officially released! Special thanks to everyone who helped test, and get this out the door!

Version 2024.2.2 is a minor update to 2024.2.1 that includes about 20 fixes and improvements. It improves CUE file handling, and fixes artwork lookup and a number of other UPnP, sync, and stability issues. Here's a full list of changes. It's a strongly recommended update!

MediaMonkey 2024.2.1.3213

Hi,

We're happy to announce the release of MediaMonkey 2024.2.1! This build includes 2 fixes to the last RC.

2024.2.1 is a 'minor' update to 2024.2.0 although it includes over 50 fixes and improvements. It adds support for in-app updates, improves addon management, and fixes various burning, casting, conversion, scanning, view management, sync, playback, and metadata lookup issues, along with several stability issues. Here's a full list of changes. It's a strongly recommended update!

Special thanks to everyone who helped test, and get this out the door!
