1164 Beta version stalls on startup

Has anyone else had this problem? I installed the latest version as of a few days ago, and whenever i start MM, it takes about a half an hour to actually start up. Very strange. When i revert back to 3.0, it starts up fine. But i need the newer version to put music on my iPhone. Any suggestions?

Try to create a debug log, it should show the reason for this delay.

Strange. After installing iTunes (as a last resort), everything seems to be working fine. MM starts up normally, and I'm able to copy music to my iPhone again. Does anyone know why this would happen? I'm hesitant to uninstall iTunes to see if MM will still work after that.

Certain iTunes files are needed for MM to sync to the iPhone, and you need iTunes if you wish to continue to add updates to your phone, so I'd recommend keeping it installed if only for those 2 reasons.
