Problems with MM and URC PSX-2 Dock (and others)

When I fill my iPod nano with songs using iTunes. Everything works like it should. I can search and see all my songs, artists and playlists. But I hate iTunes, it takes for ever to do anything and locks up all time.

I use mediamonkey to manage my music collection (over 13k songs). The problem is when when I fill my iPod using MM the dock does not work like it should. I can see the song that is playing. I can't see any other music, artist or playlists. I can only use the FF, RW, Stop, Pause, and Play buttons.

Any Ideas? I will not go back to iTunes after using MM. Is this a tagging issue?
