When you walk in the room and see your computer running lights all on speakers on monitor off but light says its on? And you have it set to never shut off monitor??
So you press power button on tower to hard power off and restart, when the logon screen flickers goes off and you both see and smell smoke from top of flat screen monitor??
Do you think i can jimmy rig it this time with a work around??

How long is a warranty on the flat screens ??

well since it sent smoke signals looks like i'm in need of what you think is the best monitors for under 100 us dollars.
20 inch vga and 1600 x 1200 screen res. at max.
looking for new one not re-manufactured.
looked around my self and found some but was not sure which one was best at long lasting when heavly used, keep in mind heavy means 24/7 for this one and 20/7 for my jukebox which is doing the same thing on the crt only it's not sending smoke it's just acting strange like the flat panel did as in flickering and turning off everything so i figure its the monitor on that too. got to get two of the critters,

It has bothe a dvi / and vga connections do i get to plug both in or only one,?
I know you guys that have it think its a dumb question but you asked the same thing when you got both connections. This is first flat screen that gave me them both so i'm just now out of the stoneage. And am confused by them both on monitor.
