dlna-how used by MMW and the *standard*

I am looking to see what is 'required' by dlna standard and what can be 'defined' by the server side. So what i am hoping for is that someone has a link to the specification for mmw (developers always have some kind of write up on how they are implementing any data interchange/api communications) and a link to the definition.

I have looked at dlan.org and they appear to have a document you can buy but hoping there is something available for less

If you have any pointer i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks Lowlander. Actually my question is about the communication back and for. When my blu-Ray connects to the server what is it expecting in return? Then when I select 'tv' what does the service get and what does the blu-ray expect back.

I guess my op wasn't quite complete/right.

Thanks for that. I had gone to that site but there seemed to be a *need* to join ... like on the dlna site.

I will go back and check those links.
