Sync Playlist To Android Phone (Pixel 7)

New problem after attempting sync.

Synced the entire library, not playlist. I had applied to sync just "Peter Music", both on Pixel 6 and on MM.

I went into phone and deleted unwanted music. I then attempted to sync via wifi. Sync stopped shortly after starting with "Sync Incomplete" message. Subsequent sync gave same message.

What did I do wrong?

It likely means that you had more than just the Playlist selected to be synced. The selection is inclusive, any item selected will be Synced.

Try restarting the device and MMW5 and wi-fi Sync again. If the same message shows you can send a log from MMA right after and respond here with the logID.

Devices and Services - Pixel 6 selected
Sync List Library - Peter Music Selected, the only selection in "All Playlists"
I also checked "Delete other files and playlists"

Still getting initial attempt at syncing, then "sync incomplete" again.

Where do I go from here??

I don't see a "Debug" selection under "Help".

I searched Goggle and that shows it under "Help" .

Hi,
You can also supply log from MM5 and app you mentioned, but in MMA use ☰ -> ? -> Send Logs and write log ID here.

Go to Settings > Help > Send logs in MMA.

OK new development.

I just kept resyncing after getting "Sync Incomplete". Did that 3 times and each time more files were sync'd.

Then I get: "Analyzing"
"Updating Metadata to server..."
"Deleting Tracks" - 2000 files
"Analyzing Sync List"
"Prepare Download"
"Downloading" - 518 files

Now on a music file #181 of 518 "Waiting for file to convert", but it's been stuck on the progress bar for some time at about 60%

Not sure what to do except wait a while longer. Bar not moving.

Hi,
As you are using conversion, you should create MM5 debug log, it is possible that Conversion is stuck on some file.

Ok I got out of hanging "waiting for file to convert".

I then tried another sync. Now I get: "Synconization refused by remote server. Verify that wifi synconization is enabled on remote server".

I went to tool - options - media sharing. Can't see anything there to help me.

Suggestions?

Try restarting MMW5. Did you change anything in MediaMonkey or Windows since the last Sync? You can also try a phone restart.

Did another Sync and went to "Updating Metadata to Server" again this time I did not delete files option but said no. Got to "Failed to Convert" but only got one and no hang ups. The download was 338 instaed of the previous 518 files.

Devices and Services - Pixel 6 now says Last Sync'd 12/28/2022 4:26:33. Before it would say "Not Sync'd Yet".

I'll leave this for today and see how MM works All the "Peter Music" is in the phone with no extras.

Thanks for all the attempts at resolving this but for now I'd like to just enjoy the tunes.
