Very simple, and not hard to implement.
Properties track -> then go to Classification tab, double click an playlist to open in new tab. Or an otherway/button after it to open the playlist. Or for example, right click open in new tab.

And i know the properties view locks the window behind it, but if it opens the playlist as new tab behind it. Its ok to close properties and go to the playlist behind it.
