3D Flow Album View 1.2

Post by perdedor »

Hey guys,

I recently installed the newest version of MM, and, I have to say; it's incredible.

I was checking out the skins & love them. Buuut, I can't seem to get 3D "Flow Album View 1.2" to work.

I downloaded it from the MM skins section & github, but, it won't work.

Just wondering if anyone might know what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks so much!

When you try to enable the view (e.g., switch to the Albums node, then in the view section on the top-right, switch to 3D Album view) what happens? Does MM crash, or do you get a specific error, etc.?

I uploaded many addons to MM's addon page, but not all of those were created by me. "By drakinite, Submitted by drakinite" means I made it on my own time. "By Ventis Media, Inc., Submitted by drakinite" means it may have been made by me or another MediaMonkey developer, so instead of crediting/thanking me, please thank the team. You can still ask me for support on any of our addons.

Hey drakinite,

Thanks a lot for replying. I really appreciate that.

I got it! I didn't click on the Albums node. (Sorry.)

I don't know if I should make a new thread for this, but, 3D Flows' skin is a green, and, I was looking to change it to black.

Thanks again!

What do you mean by "3D Flows' skin is a green"? Are you talking about the background? Can you upload a screenshot?

That looks to me like the appearance MediaMonkey gets when no skin is selected. Try re-selecting the current skin, or switching to a new skin (View -> Skin -> click on the one you want to switch to)

3D Flow Album View

Post by perdedor »

Hi guys! (Again)

So, first off, I'm really sorry if I'm not supposed to have two topics open at once. I'll delete this right away if I'm not.

I've been using the "3D Flow Album View" skin for months. Today, the screen turned a darkish green.

I had this problem a while ago & managed to fix it with the help of one of your awesome support team.

So, when I install the 3D skin, MM says it has to restart. When it does, the skin is still green.

I'm just wondering if anybody might know what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks so much!

Hi,
Check for an updated GPU driver as 3D Flow Album View is heavily dependent on your GPU and its driver settings and support.

Green Screen often indicate issue with GPU Rendering of Overlay surfaces.

Best suggestion would be that you install Clean portable version of MM and then manually install 3D Flow Album View addon to see if it works there.
