When using the Android App, I am able to sync all my Collections using the "Sync Settings" and adding each Collection under "Sync from the server" and "Server content". However, on the Home Screen nor anywhere else in the App does it seperate the Collections. It does seperate the Types "Music", "Classical Music" and "AudioBooks", but not the Collections which are defined by Grouping on the Server. I have set up several Collections under the Music Type using the Groupings Christmas, Instrumentals, Soundtracks, Comedy, etc
The result is on my phone, I cannot control the shuffle to not include Christmas when I play any music since it is all piled together. While a Play List would resolve this to a degree - I have over well 10,000 tracks and sometimes I just want to hear anything from 1977 - but not Christmas. Sometimes I want to hear anything Jazz but not Christmas or maybe just Instrumental Jazz, but as stated previously - that does not work on the Android App since the Collections are ignored outside of the Sync Settings.
It is hard to believe that I am the only person who has ran in to this issue. If I am doing something wrong, then please let me know. Otherwise, is there a chance we could get this fixed in the App?
I am using: MediaMonkey Pro Android 2.0.5.1248

Collections is a MMW thing, it's not available in MMA.

Re: Collections on the Home Screen
That kind of defeats the purpose of using MMA and MMW together which is the entire reason I chose and purchased Media Monkey to begin with. The selling point was setting up and managing everything on my computer with MMW in order to have the same setup on my phone in MMA.
Why would Collections not be included in MMA since they are an intricate part of organization in MMW? Collections are a lot more flexible and less work than Playlists. Playlists have great value, but Collections are better suited for organizing large number of files - especially since we cannot have custom Types, which is why in this forum we are consistently told that Collections is the way to organize since Types are so limited. However, if MMA cannot use those Collections then we are right back where we started without a viable solution.
Are there any plans to incorporate Collections in to the functionality of MMA?

Further customizations are planned for the future, but there is no concrete plan yet.

Re: Collections on the Home Screen
Then might I add to the wish list Support of Collections on the Home Screen?
In my case it may require Support of Grouping since that is what I use for Collections. Not sure what can of worms that might be opening.
Or if there is another suggested way to accomplish what I am wanting to do currently, I would consider that as well. However, I initially tried to do this with Genre's but that did not work out well at all. That required repetitive sub-genre's in order to organize. Became very confusing and only worked for Genres and not Years, Artists, etc. Collections have been the only thing that easily worked, but only in MMW which is why I would like to add it to the MMA Wish List.
