I found out about Milkdrops 3 on reddit

MilkDrop 3 is a portable program that supports any audio source (Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Winamp...)
It is based on BeatDrop from Maxim Volskiy, so it's 100% compatible with any presets created with MilkDrop and projectM.
MilkDrop3 does everything that MilkDrop2 can do ..

After starting mildrop3 go to Settings - load file
I load a cmd file with:

start "" "xxx\Unified Remote 3\RemoteServerWin.exe"
start "" "xxx\MediaMonkey 5\MediaMonkey.exe"

I made a track called " i miss milkdrop" because winamp has gone by the wayside and I dont really watch it without a projector anymore. but yea.... anyone that has a projector should have milkdrop going.

also there were a ton of shortcuts for it so you can do some video mixing while your song was playing so you can customize transitions. or you can set them up to be based on beats per minute / bars etc.

Milkdrop 3 is nice. But with Mediamonkey 2024 it works not like Milkdrop in Mediamonkey 4. I did not find a possibility to show the title of the song actually playing. As DJ therefore i still use Mediamonkey 4 because I think the title is important for dancers. Can anybody help to show titles in Mediamonkey 5/2024?

The most like reason why MM4 works is because MM4 still was able to simulate Winamp External API calls to fetch Title from apps still use it. Only thing that Devs need to do is to incorporate query for MM Active tracks, should be easy see https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/Contro ... plications
