Widget goes blank when not playing

MMA updated to v2.1.1.1281 on my Galaxy s24u running OneUI 8/OS16.

Now, shortly after MMA stops playback, the now-playing widget on my home screen blanks out the artwork. Still shows the track, album, and artist names. And the artwork will show when I resume playback.

Prior to this, the artwork was always shown even when not actively playing.

Interesting as today when I woke up MMA Widget AA was blank, but then I noticed that my Alarm Clock widget also showed 2am instead of 10am. Both widgets resumed normal behavior after tap on them and executed default action for widget tap eg. for MMA, a MMA opened and for Alarm, a widget settings opened. Strange, I have never observed such behavior.

Can you please track behavior and see if you can fetch some pattern. I will surely keep an eye on this.

The only pattern I'm seeing so far is that the art on the MMA widget blanks out after a period of time of not playing anything. It may or may not be the timeout value I have set for "Show in notification bar" as I have not timed it.

That is the main issue, I have set three more devices to be idle with Widgets On main screen and same alarm clock, have not touched them for whole day and just as I checked it few moments ago all of them showed AA normally and clocks showed correct time I'll keep watching to see if there is any pattern and when they will freeze or loose AA.

I really think that it is something simple that also have reasonable explanation. Only think I have noticed that After phone restart MMA widget AA is empty and Clock do not advance (Seconds) till phones load all boot apps in about a minute when I get Home screen.

Really hope we can track it down in order to explain if not fix it.

On my device (current and past) home screen widgets may take some time to load on a device restart, but most of them do load fully after a couple moments. MMA's however has always loaded the track info without the artwork, and then show the artwork after opening the program's main screen, whether I resumed playback or not.

I just restarted the phone to test, and it's now not doing that, on restart it's showing the art at device restart.
