Re: Any metal fans here? Raise a hand pls!
I like some metal but I grew up on Nu Metal. Korn, Spineshank, Static X, Mudvayne, Kittie, Slipknot etc.. I will throw some 80s thrash on once in awhile and some 90s groove metal if I'm feeling in the mood.

Yes, there are a lot of good heavy metal bands. I groove up with led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Nazareth, Judas Priest etc, and now my son introduces new artists like Cradle of Filth, Korn and some other.
MM-Gold user since 2005

Raise a hand here too! Definitely a metalhead and long-time MediaMonkey user. I grew up on a mix of classic thrash and once broke my mom's favourite woodensure side table because i got into the groove metal of the 90s.

Any metal fans here? Raise your hand and flash the horns, because this shout-out is for everyone who lives for thunderous drums, shredding guitars, and the unbeatable rush that metal brings. There’s something powerful about belonging to a community that understands the beauty of chaos, volume, and emotion all wrapped into one explosive genre. Metalheads can talk for hours—about bands, concerts, gear—and somehow the conversation still drifts into the most random places. I’ve even heard people compare choosing the winning to picking the perfect setlist for a live show. And honestly, the passion is pretty similar! Whether we’re moshing, debating the greatest solos of all time, or joking about how the could fund our dream festival, the spirit stays the same: loud, loyal, and full of fire. So if you’re a metal fan, consider your hand officially raised. Horns up, forever and always!
