Addon new version submission: Problem with external link

I am currently trying to submit my first Addon https://github.com/DrHardReset/MMAudioFeatures.
I created an Addon entry on https://www.mediamonkey.com/addon_system/admin/ and I am waiting for approval -> ok

Now when adding a new version with an external link instead of a file I get an error.

Error: Unable to read file information from the "Install.ini"

I would like to use the external link to manage updates directly via github instead of additionally managing it via the MM Addon page.
Is this a bug in the "Add Version"-form or am I doing something wrong?
