Hello everybody. Great to be here and looking forward to finally organizing my music library after years of iTunes messing it up.
I have just added my 380gb music library and I have a couple of questions about to organize/edit it. I have music that is in the same genre however over the years it has been spelt differently so I have multiple genres for the same genre (if that makes sense), for example, Drum and base, drum and base, DnB etc. Is there a way to get all these combined as one?
As well as this, can we add sub genres? For example, Different Drum and Base genres - melodic - Liquid - aggressive - Neurofunk - sample-heavy Jungle - energetic - Jump-Up?
I also have a lot of metal music that I would like to all be in a metal genre but have sub genres for thrash, power, death metal etc?
Any advise on this would be great

Re: New user Genre help
1. Easiest is to edit the Genre values in the Genre sub-node, this will fix the entries on your files and allow you to consolidate.
2. No, but multiple Genres is supported.

Thanks for the information, I will have to decide whether I want to use generic genre's or more specific genre's then.
Where abouts do I find where to edit the Genre values in the Genre sub-node?
