Best Way to reinstall MM4

MediaMonkey has been getting sluggish.
Now Playing is the same as it was 2 months ago, when opening
When I send to a playlist, the most recent at the top doesn't update
When I select the Music playlist, it takes up to 5 minutes to populate. (I do the Maintain Library regularly)

Would reinstalling repair these issues?

If so, what is the best way to do that, keeping all my plugins and playlists?

I doubt it. Never experienced increasing sluggishness over time with MM4.
Possible culprits I would look for are:
Plugins: Does disabling them make a difference?
File system errors: Does running "chkdsk your-drive-name-letter: " report errors?
Failing HDD/SDD .. ?
