If I do a portable install ondo D drive, do I need to backup my library if I do a clean re-install of Windows?

Mediamonkey (portable) would go on D

If I were to now format C and do a clean install of the OS on C, would I need to back up my MM Library?
i.e - does MM Portable store files/data on C drive if its a portable install?

A Portable Install is self contained and all is in the installation folder. So wiping C does not affect a Portable Install on D.
