I had to reinstall Windows, so lost my customizations.
I have two trees in my music library: flac_album and mp3_album. Some albums are in both, but not all.
As this is for home listening, I want to see both versions so I can choose flac (preferably) or mp3 if no flac.
I also want the list to show artist/album, not tracks (unless I want to drill down).
I have found many confusing/conflicting info on how to do this. I'd think this would be one of the most popular configs. and offered as a default.

1) It sounds like you created filtered Collections, but don't want them. Entire Library will show both, and if you kept the default Music Collection it likely would too.
2) You can use the Media Tree nodes, the Column Filter, or change View to a Grid View to not see a full track list.

Not sure how I created a filtered list.
I just installed MM and pointed it to my library.
