I have a large collection of sheet music stored as PDF files. My ideal setup would be to organize them using MediaMonkey in a way similar to how it organizes music (composer, collection, movement, etc.), even if MediaMonkey cannot actually open the PDFs.
Is there a way to get MediaMonkey to index PDF files in the library database, similar to how it handles audio files?
For example:
Can .pdf be safely added to the list of scanned file extensions?
Can it organize a dedicated folder with just these pdfs.
Would this cause issues with the MediaMonkey database or metadata fields?
Is there an existing addon or script that allows MediaMonkey to catalog non-media files like sheet music?
My goal is simply to use MediaMonkey as an organizer for the PDFs, not to play them.
Has anyone successfully done something like this?
Using MediaMonkey to catalog sheet music PDFs?
Re: Using MediaMonkey to catalog sheet music PDFs?
No, MediaMonkey can't be set to scan PDF files into the Library.
