Audio files will not play

None of my files in MM will play. I get the message that MP3 is inaccessible.
There is a great deal on this topic in the "Help" files and I've followed most of it but some is right over my head. I've e established that drivers are O.K. and the output is correct. All other apps that require audio are fine.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Can you play a file from File Explorer in MediaMonkey? Do the files in MediaMonkey show a drive letter in the Path? Lastly check the Path shown in MediaMonkey versus the actual file Path in File Explorer.
