Preview not updated after "Properties" dialogue navigation [#22158]

I noticed while cleaning up my cover art that if I:

1. Preview set to "Selected"
2. Select a node with multiple tracks
3. Select Properties of the first track
4. Use the Previous/Next buttons to traverse the tracks

that the Preview cover art doesn't change even though the selected track changes

Hi,
Reason why this is happening is that Preview Selected always reflect highlighted selected track not background selected track eg. when you opened properties of a track and then you click cancel track is still selected, but is not highlighted that result preview do not get updated.

I never clicked on "Cancel".

I'm just going through the tracks one by one, was expecting the cover art to update

While Properties dialog is open Preview is in background and until you either click Cancel/OK preview does not need to update as you do not have any access to it. Not say it can't be made to be updated but it is not a bug, but a feature to not waste resources on background update. At least my two cents of logic. But again prove me wrong and I'll escalate. If I am wrong then it is fixable.

I am using the Artwork Tab but it struck me as being "wrong" when the highlighted track in the background changed but the Preview art didn't

Hi,
that is why I created bug aas even list change selected track in list it is not focused selected track but background selection and preview reacts to focused selected track.
