Playback from Dta stick

Post by gillgil »

My old windows Media Player transfer to a data stick would only play @ 60% of music on my car stereo. I noticed that the ones played had (mp3 and wma) code on songs. I use MM now and at first run it played @40% of songs , I changed code to mp3, played @ 40% of songs , them I changed code to wma and it now plays @ 60% of music on stick? What am I doing wrong, please remember I am no computer wiz I just like my music to go. Thanks anybody gillgil

Sounds like you're using the regular MediaMonkey?

You'll need to find out what formats (WMA, MP3, WAV, etc.) are supported. MediaMonkey can convert if necessary.

Thanks for the reply, I did buy the upgrade of MM thinking that it would convert so all music on media stick would be playable on any device, so there is no such, each playback device has their format for playback?

Yes, what is supported depends on the device used for playback. MediaMonkey can auto-convert when syncing, so it's just a question of figuring out what is supported: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... evices/4.0
