Internet isn't required. You'll not be able to use some of the online lookup features, but otherwise it doesn't rely on the internet to function.

Re: are there any MM features requiring an internet connection?
You should be aware that it is possible to initiate a web browser session from it as well. I can't tell you exactly how right now because, 1 - I only accidentally do it myself occasionally and 2 - my whole system is down because of preparations made in regard to wildfires and the possibility of evacuation. When it does launch it goes to Amazon so I think there is an action that you can select to buy the music. I am sure someone here will clarify any misstatement regarding this. If you don't have a browser that can be launched then that shouldn't be an issue. You could also probably disable that particular computer from accessing the network outside of you home network via your router.
Re: are there any MM features requiring an internet connection?
If the PC itself is offline it won't be able to access anything on the internet anyway. So if you launch a link to an internet site from within MediaMonkey it won't work, but this doesn't impede MediaMonkey's own functionality.
