Did you try switching output plugins (i.e. using WASAPI instead of DirectSound, or vice versa) ?
Did that have any effect?

p.s. If you want to use MM3 for now, but continue to test out MM4, just install MM4 in Portable mode to a temp directory. That way you can test it out without actually installing it.

uninstall it and run registry cleaner for your system, i use ccleaner, and auslogics registry cleaner, make sure you get all hidden files out too. if that one you have trouble with sticks in then you will have trouble with it in every version and neverRammstein874 wrote:Installed MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1343 (Developer build) & MediaMonkey 4.0.0.1376 (Developer Build) Still getting the problem. 1. Go to Options -> Hotkeys
2. Select
Action: Playback: Balance Left
Hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+Left
3. Click [Apply]
4. Select <New Hotkey...>
5. Select
Action: Playback: Balance Right
Hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+Right
6. Click [OK] to approve options dialog
7. trim your balance by using Ctrl+Shift+Right, Ctrl+Shift+Left
